Following the great success of the plastics symposiums held in 2018 and 2019 at Merkle CAE Solutions, GARDENA Manufacturing GmbH, Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH, Aalen University, and PLEXPERT GmbH are inviting participants to a professional exchange this year. As part of the Invest-BW research project “SusPlasPro – Holistic Circular Engineering for Sustainable Plastic Products,” a two-day symposium on the forward-looking use of post-consumer recyclates (PCR) will take place on November 19 and 20, 2025, in Heidenheim.
The focus is on strategies and technologies for developing sustainable plastic products with a reduced carbon footprint—a topic that is not only of interest to researchers, but also to industry in particular. Designers, development engineers, and project managers gain practical insights into the latest research findings and industrially proven applications.
Designing sustainable plastic products
